Ways to Contribute
There are many ways to make a donation. You can donate monetarily, and also give the gift of time by volunteering. Check out some of the great ways you can invest financially in the ministry of Love In the Name of Christ of Newaygo County.
Direct Donations
Become a Love INC monthly or annual investor and help sustain the ministry throughout the year. One time gifts are also appreciated. Financial donations may be delivered in person, mailed in or contributed electronically.

When grant funds are available, the Fremont Area Community Foundation matches gifts to Love INC 50¢/$1.
Love INC Endowment Fund & General Contributions through the Fremont Area Community Foundation
General Endowment Donations: Your donation to our endowment fund at the Fremont Area Community Foundation helps provide long-term sustainability for the Love INC Ministry in our community.
Memorial Donations: Give a memorial gift of up to $500/year to the Love INC of Newaygo County Endowment Fund, through the Fremont Area Community Foundation, in honor of someone who has passed away within the year, and the Foundation will match your gift 100%. A gift of $500 becomes a gift of $1,000!
Programming Donations: Donors may contribute to the Fremont Foundation and designate that funds be used for the benefit of the Love INC Ministry. Such donations are passed on to Love INC directly.
All donations given to Love INC through the Fremont Foundation should be made out to “The Fremont Area Community Foundation” with a memo stating that the funds are to be placed in the Love INC Endowment Fund or given directly to Love INC for general operations.
Donations through United Way
Many companies offer the option of giving to non-profits through United Way. United Way allows donors to specify where their contributions are used. You may designate Love INC of Newaygo County as your non-profit of choice through United Way employee contributions giving. Please check with your employer to see what types of giving programs they offer.
Estate Planning
Make an impact that will last for years to come by leaving a legacy gift to Love INC of Newaygo County in your will or trust.
Estate planning is not only for the wealthy. It is for everyone. As caretakers of God’s assets, it is important that we honor Him and further His work with a portion of our funds.

Employee/Retiree Company Donor Matching
Often, employees and retirees are able to receive matching funds for their donations through their company or company foundation.
Locally, we encourage retirees of Gerber/Nestle, who donate financially to Love INC, to complete their portion of the Gerber Foundation form and submit it to Love INC along with their financial contribution. The Gerber Foundation is one of our generous foundations that will often match donation funds.
Please check with your company. This is a great way to multiply your impact!
Special Event Donations
Consider donating items or finances to one of our special events (annual golf outing, volunteer picnic, speaker events, local expos, etc.).

Gift-In-Kind (Items) Donations…Contributions of Goods and Services
Providing gift-in-kind goods and services is another wonderful way to invest in the ministry of Love INC and our community.
Resale Store Donations: Donations of gently used clothing, shoes, household items, books, furniture, and electric appliances are appreciated and accepted at the Love INC Resale Store M-Sa, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evenings. We offer pick up assistance for larger items such as furniture and appliances. For questions concerning accepted donations or to schedule a donation pick up, please contact us at 231-652-4099.
Food Pantry Donations: The Love INC Community Food Pantry serves over 600 families each month. Donations may be dropped off at the pantry-receiving door M-F, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Items needed include:
Personal care items: Toilet paper, soap, shampoo, sanitary products, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant.
General food items: Canned fruits, flour, sugar, cereal, baking mixes, tuna.
Fresh produce: Fresh fruits, berries, and vegetables are so appreciated. Plant an extra row in your garden and share with our community members in need.
Venison: Attention hunters…please consider donating some venison to our pantry. Please call our office to find out which processors will process the meat for little or no charge if the meat goes to a pantry. 231-652-4099 x 118.
