Love In the Name of Christ... A Partnership of Local Churches
Love INC, in its most basic form, is a partnership of local Christian churches working in a coordinated way to address and respond to the needs of our neighbors. The Church is ideally suited, by design and definition, to address human needs… spiritually, physically, relationally, and emotionally. The role of Love INC is not to replace the Church, but to bring churches together into one working unit to share the love of God with our neighbors in need (1 John 3:18).
Love INC is a ministry of Christian churches. We use the Apostles’ Creed as our Statement of Faith to identify unity in Christ.
The Apostles Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty Creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead.
On the third day, He rose again. He ascended into Heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

Two Levels of Church Partnering
Level 1: Church Partners
- Church leadership has met with Love INC representatives and agree with the mission and vision of Love INC.
- Church doctrine agrees with the faith expressed by the Apostles’ Creed and with the Love INC Statement on Scripture.
- Church leadership and the congregation are committed to praying for Love INC, our community, our local churches, and for unity in the Body of Christ.
- Church leadership and the congregation are committed to promoting the ministry of Love INC within the community, supporting Love INC financially and through volunteerism.
Level 2: Participating Churches
- Church doctrine agrees with the faith expressed by the Apostles’ Creed and with the Love INC Statement on Scripture.
- The church supports Love INC in one or more of the following ways: financial support, volunteer support.
How We Mobilize Churches & Respond To Need
We provide our churches with a centralized Help Center. The Help Center is where requests for help are received, people’s stories are heard, and ways for churches and Christian volunteers to personally respond are created, assessed, and executed.
We help churches identify, organize, inspire, train and nurture church members to manifest Christ’s love through relationsip-building service opportunities.
We act as a connection hub (information and idea center) for the building of relationships between churches, local ministries, community organizations and the neighbors we serve.
We access area-wide community service gaps and work with our churches to fill those gaps. “Gap Ministries” include things like ramp and bunk bed construction, providing wood for home heating, making quilts, loaning out medical equipment, etc.
We provide long-term programming to address chronic need and the lack of skills & support systems. We call this Transformational Ministry. Church volunteers serve as mentors, teachers, childcare providers, prayer partners and support teams. All programs are biblically-based.
