Seasonal Worker/Migrant Ministry

Many seasonal workers (migrant families) come to West Michigan each Spring/Summer to work on the vegetable farms and in the orchards. Often, families have so many people traveling with them that there is little room for personal items. Camp housing does not usually provide items such as dishes, cooking pots, curtains, and bedding – this is a gap in our area…a gap Love INC churches can fill. In addition, many families are in need of clothing and light jackets.

Love INC needs volunteers to donate needed items and to assemble the donated items into manageable quantities (i.e. collect all the kitchenware items for a family of 6 and box it up) for distribution.
