Growing Love — Gardening Ministry

 Growing Love is a gardening ministry offered through Love INC for the first time in 2009. This ministry provides families the opportunity to plant, grow and harvest a garden.

Experienced gardeners assist participants in preparing and understanding garden techniques and care. Mentors are matched with participants to be a support during the growing season.

Garden plants and seeds, as well as basic gardening tools, are provided to the gardeners by Love INC for use in maintaining their gardens. A minimum of 10% of each gardener’s harvest is donated back to Love INC or another approved local food pantry to assist other families within the community.

We need garden mentors, garden plants & seeds and gardening tools. If you or your church would like to participate in the Growing Love Ministry, please contact Love INC at 231.652.4099.
