The Woodville Community Church exists to serve God through each person growing as a disciple of Jesus Christ, through the expository preaching & teaching of God’s Word, reaching out in service to our community with the Good News of salvation in Christ, and engaging in celebrative worship that glorifies our Lord.

Find out more about who we are by visiting our website:

www.woodvillechurch.org

We are devoted to glorifying God by becoming a community of grace and truth.  Our prayer is that you will experience the love and presence of Jesus, our Savior, and be drawn closer to Him.

Church Services and Times:

Sunday Morning Worship: 10am

Adult & Children’s Sunday School: 11:30am

Wednesday Evening Prayer Meeting & Bible Study: 7 pm

Men’s & Women’s Bible Study & Potluck: 3rd Wednesday of each month 7 pm

Music plays an important role here at Woodville. You’ll find a refreshing blend of traditional hymns with contemporary praise songs used to worship God. Solos as well as songs from our praise band help to center our thoughts upon Jesus Christ.

Our highest priority is placed on proclaiming God’s Word through expository preaching.  Each service is centered upon worshiping God in spirit and truth through Christ-centered messages of hope and truth.

Each person who worships with us is a personal and necessary element in proclaiming together the joy of salvation…you are important to us. Together we make up the body of Christ as we assemble with one another to pray and encourage and lift up the name of Jesus Christ.

We believe that when God’s Word is proclaimed and taught, God’s people will be brought to faith and the saints edified.

Our Church Covenant

HAVING ACCEPTED THE LORD, JESUS CHRIST, as our personal Savior, and having been baptized, we joyfully enter into covenant  with one another, as one body in Christ – to worship the Lord in spirit and truth, to edify the body of Christ, and to evangelize the unredeemed world.

WE COVENANT TOGETHER to live lives worthy of our calling in Christ Jesus, to be exemplary of Christ in our community; and to manifest the fruit of the Spirit in character and conduct.

WE COVENANT TOGETHER to love one another as Christ has loved us: To desire each other’s  Christlikeness and give of our selves to promote the image of Christ in one another, to pray for and with one another and to meet one another’s needs.

WE COVENANT TOGETHER to be blameless and holy people; to promote the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace; to abstain from and lovingly confront any element of unChristlike behavior or divisiveness; to speak words that administer grace and edify the body; and to reconcile any offenses without delay.

WE COVENANT TOGETHER to grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord, Jesus Christ; to be good stewards of our spiritual gifts and exercise them faithfully within our fellowship; to support our worship, doctrines, ordinances, and discipline; and to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry.

FINALLY, WE COVENANT TOGETHER to do all things to the glory of God for the furthering of His kingdom.

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brothers to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, Coming down upon the beard, Even Aaron’s beard, Coming down upon the edges of his robes. It is like the dew of Hermon, Coming down upon the mountains of Zion; For there the Lord commanded the blessing- Life forever.- Psalm 133
